An interesting article about Derek's band Icky Blossoms, Tilly and a tiny bit about Willa, Jamie and Derek's baby.

She & Him Video
I'm sure most of you have seen it already but She & Him released the song Tilly worked on as a single and also made a video. Sadly, none of the gang is in it but it's still adorable as fuck. Click here to check it out.
The Young Veins
Now this one is a bit more labored and interesting. Some of you may have been fans of the band Panic(!) at the Disco and if you are, you might now two of their members bowed out to pursue their own musical direction in a band called The Young Veins. For those of you who already stopped reading at Panic at the Disco, I urge you not to dismiss The Young Veins! It's completely different from the "goddamned door" song as so many know them by. If you're a fan of all the retro 60s/70s Kinks-esque pop that seems to have been all the rage for the past few years, then they're worth checking out. This is their MySpace which only has one song, here's the only other one that has been released so far. They have recorded their first album already and are looking for a label. Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet produced most of it with Rob Mathis and everyone from the likes of Jason Boesel from Rilo Kiley to Morgan Nagler from The Whispertown2000 played on it.
With that spiel, if you noticed on their MySpace, Nick just joined the band! He's their keyboardist and I'm not sure if it's permanent or just for the upcoming tour coming up (dates are on the MySpace), but I know I'm not the only Tilly fan that might also like The Young Veins and would want to go to support Nick. The band is opening up for some other rock revival stint called Foxy Shazam, they seem like some fun. Anyway, I'll try to post more updates on this Young Veins situation once it gets more light on it. The dates are pretty fucking soon though so I wanted to post this as soon as possible! Tickets are pretty cheap too. Oh and for those rogue Straylight Run fans in here...Will Noon is managing the tour as well. So it's a pretty sweet deal all around. If anyone wants a download for any of those two songs, let me know.
Oh and this is their Twitter and up there is their MySpace, of course. Follow/friend them if you dig it, hope this was interesting to at least one of you.

I don't if you guys have read about this, but this movie called 'Sorry, Thanks' was shown at the 2009 SXSW Film Festival and the soundtrack is mainly Team Love artists and, anyway, the trailer featured Dust Me Off, so I thought I'd post it.

"O will have limited edition runs of handmade prints available by different artists that will act as the record’s cover, giving you a unique piece of art!"
I picked up a copy at a show in august and it does have an awesome print on it, but I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of the different prints saved to their computer? I looked everywhereee and found nothing. It would be much appreciated. :]

I found it. Here's the link if anyone's interested:

Just thought I'd share this video I found from Triple J TV in Australia, where random people in some shopping centre were asked to listen to Pot Kettle Black and comment on it:

Oh, and Tilly doing Kiss Off is featured on the latest Like Version CD on the DVD disc:

Hi again! I'm so sorry I'm always on here asking questions, but you guys are really quite helpful!
I'm looking for, I think it was, a forum entry that is from a couple of years ago about a Tilly show. I remember there were some good pictures, some distinct ones being Conor Oberst in a straw hat and Jamie looking quite tired after the show. I had the entry in my favourites but now I have a new computer. I've been searching for a couple of hours, so I was wondering if anyone has any idea what site it was or even what I'm talking about.
Thanks again everyone!

Also, I've been looking through all the entries for a post about who sang what songs on Woo!. Does anyone know if it still exists here? I have a habit of looking and missing.
Thanks in advance!

Tilly and the Wall will be performing on the premiere episode of the newly revamped 90210, which airs on September 2nd on The CW. The band will be performing their song “Pot Kettle Black” from their incredible album with no title, simply called o due to the frame on its cover, which is available now!
In addition to their appearance on 90210, where the band performs at a character’s not-so-sweet sixteen, Tilly and the Wall also performed in a music video acquired by Sesame Street to use in their upcoming 39th season, which starts this fall. The band recorded their own version of the ABC song, and the result is nothing short of magical.
Lastly, Tilly and the Wall will be hitting the road for select shows this September with Brazil’s CSS.
The two bands, both of whom are known for their amazing live performances, have toured together many times in Europe, and will no doubt create a show that is not to be missed.
Also, in case you missed them before, the Bowery photos I took are up on Prefix and the Music Hall of Williamsburg photos are up on PopWreck(oning).
